I am a qualified and accredited National and Regional Tourist Guide (Bord Fáilte), a member of Galway Tour Guides Association and a member of The Approved Tourist Guide of Ireland (A.T.G.I)

Clare’s Culture and Heritage Tours is an accredited national and regional tour guide, providing personally tailored tours throughout Galway city and county , Connemara, County Clare and along the Wild Atlantic way.

Born and bred in the ‘City of the Tribes’ in Dangan along the shores of Lough Corrib. I am from a farming background and experienced first hand fairs and markets in Galway and met numerous and fascinating characters on my way . I now live in outside Oranmore and experience the sea every day , calm or rough.

I have a keen interest in Irish music, all things maritime, Food and I love to take visitors on a bespoke tour of our medieval city, especially tailored to the needs of the visitors.

Clare’s Culture and Heritage Tours provides a memorable, fun, and authentic experience and relates stories from the original clans like the O’Flaherty’s, O’Connor’s and the O’Halloran’s to the de Burgos and to the 14 merchant families that shaped our city.
